How to request deletion

Tahiti Comms does not currently provide a self-service account deletion control on this website. To request deletion, email 1111trevah@gmail.com with the subject “Tahiti Comms data deletion request.”

Please include enough information for us to locate the correct records:

• your name;
• the email address or phone number used with the service;
• your Facebook or Meta profile name, if your request relates to a Meta interaction; and
• any other non-sensitive detail that helps identify your account or interaction.

Do not email your password, access token, payment credentials or a copy of sensitive identification unless we specifically request an appropriate verification method.

What happens next

1. We acknowledge the request and may ask for limited information to verify your identity and prevent unauthorised deletion.
2. We locate information associated with the verified account or Meta interaction.
3. We delete or anonymise information that is not required for an ongoing legal or security reason, and instruct relevant service providers where appropriate.
4. We send confirmation to the email address used for the request when the deletion process is complete.

We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days. If a request is complex or applicable law permits additional time, we will tell you about the delay and the expected completion date.

Information deleted

Where held and linked to you, deletion may include account or profile details, contact information, Meta app-scoped identifiers, message or interaction content retained by Tahiti Comms, and related service records that are no longer required.

Information we may retain

We may retain limited information where reasonably necessary to meet a legal, tax, accounting or reporting duty; establish or defend legal claims; prevent fraud or abuse; document that we fulfilled your request; or protect the service and its users. Residual copies may remain in restricted backups until overwritten through the normal backup cycle. Retained information will remain protected and will not be used for unrelated purposes.

Facebook and Meta users

You may also remove an app connection through your Facebook or Meta account settings. Removing the connection stops future access through that connection but may not by itself erase information previously received by Tahiti Comms. Email us using the instructions above to request deletion from our records.
